Hoppy Craftsmen - Arizona Craft Beer Podcast

All things craft beer, including Arizona and National news, reviews, and drinking some brews. Hosted by Chris Sanback, Jeff Breckon, and Nate Libby along with a rotating cast of guests. They love craft beer and all things craft beer related. Sometimes things happen in the craft beer industry they agree with and others not so much. But don't worry they are not shy, they'll speak their minds and let you know. All the while enjoying some of their favorite beers.

(NSFW) The Hoppy Craftsmen sit down with Noel Garcia, co-owner and head brewer at 12 West Brewing in San Tan. We discuss how early home brew failures turned into great beers, and an even better brewery. Noel talks about how he likes brewing beer he likes to drink, and pushing those beer styles just a little to see what happens. We learn the origins of one of 12 West’s most popular beers, and why there seem to be so many Rick and Morty references among their beers. Our old friend the Dutch Rudder returns, but this time in the form of a four-man team. Noel schools us on what advice he would give to anyone planning to take on the tremendous task of opening a brewery. He explains how culture here at 12 West means not only being part of the Agritopia community, but meeting and talking with regular patrons as well. We talk about the pros and cons of selling out to the 800 lb gorilla. Last but not least, the Craftsmen have to clear the air about an undeserved review that a local paper published about 12 West Brewing.
